I ordered this 3 piece Busker DeVille kit from SJC Custom Drums thinking it will be a ideal multipurpose kit. Turns out, it certainly is. To add to the mix, I ordered a 10" side snare drum. The snare pops great and can be tuned high, low or in the middle. Although smaller in size, the rack and floor tom cut rather nicely, yet maintain a superior tonal quality. As far as the kick drum, it doesn't even require any muffling if you tune it properly. You can play it wide open. This little kit packs a big punch.
